Le chapitre se concentre sur la maniere dont la Seconde Guerre mondiale est décrite dans la littérature tcheque pour les enfants et les jeunes, regroupée en unités chronologico-thématiques. Il analyse les spécificités des périodes individuelles et des approches des auteurs: représentation schématique de la seconde guerre mondiale dans la littérature des années 1950, approche désillusionnée de la guerre des années 1960, chronique de retour sur la guerre dans les oeuvres des années 1970 et focus sur le theme du shoah en littérature au cours des vingts dernieres années. Il présente un portrait complexe de ce sujet, également dans un contexte socio-historique plus large.

The chapter focuses on the ways in which World War II is portrayed in Czech literature for children and youth, grouped into chronological-thematic units. It analyzes the specifics of the individual time periods and approaches of authors: schematic depiction of the war in literature from 1950s, disillusion approach to the war in 1960s, chronicle look back at war in the works from the 1970s and focus on the topic of holocaust in literature in the last 20 years. It presents a comprehensive depiction of this topic, also in a wider socio-historical context.
