L article analyse le développement et les spécificités du genre policier en République tchèque (et son prédécesseur - la Tchécoslovaquie) depuis le début du XXe siècle. Il constate que ces caractéristiques sont tout aussi valables au cours des 30 dernières années. L accent est mis principalement sur la littérature policière et, en particulier, sur les séries policieres télévisées qui sont devenues particulierement populaires depuis 2015, les deux inspirées par de véritables affaires de crime organisé entre 1990 et 2010. Cependant, il est a noter que dans son examen historique de l ère communiste, la culture médiatique évite toujours d aborder les questions liées a l histoire problématique d après-guerre des Sudetes tchèques.

The article analyzes the development and specific features of the detective genre in the Czech Republic (and its predecessor Czechoslovakia) from the beginning of the 20th century. It observes that these features are just as valid in the last 30 years. The main focus is on crime fiction literature and, in particular, TV crime series that have become especially popular since 2015, both of which have been inspired by true organised crime cases between 1990-2010. However, it is noted that in its historical examination of the Communist era, the media culture is still avoiding delving into the issues connected with the problematic post-war history of the Czech Sudetenland.
