Les académiciens de bonne volonté ou l’Histoire d’un enseignement clandestin et libre réussi

L'histoire de l'enseignement est profondément liée à celle de la société, chaque régime cherchant à se définir par son enseignement de l'Histoire. L’article présent explore l'histoire de « l'université clandestine » de Brno, un projet d'enseignement indépendant dans la Tchécoslovaquie sous influence soviétique, actif entre 1985 et 1989. Cette initiative comprenait des conférences clandestines organisées par des académiciens britanniques, français et des dissidents tchèques. Ces conférences, tenues secrètes de la police et du régime politique, représentaient une coopération européenne unique et témoignaient de l'importance d'une Europe intellectuelle unie malgré le rideau de fer, préparant un avenir meilleur pour les générations futures. Hormis les origines et l’histoire de l’université clandestine, l’étude inclut une réflexion sur les thèmes de dissidence et société, ainsi que dissidence et philosophie, du point de vue de la réflexion historique et philosophique d'aujourd'hui.

The history of education is deeply intertwined with that of society, with each regime seeking to define itself through its teaching of History. This article explores the history of the "clandestine university" of Brno, an independent educational project in Soviet-influenced Czechoslovakia, active between 1985 and 1989. This initiative comprised clandestine lectures organized by British and French academics and Czech dissidents. These lectures, kept secret from the police and the political regime, represented a unique European cooperation and highlighted the importance of an intellectually united Europe despite the Iron Curtain, preparing a better future for coming generations. Besides the origins and history of the clandestine university, the study includes a reflection on the themes of dissidence and society, as well as dissidence and philosophy, from the perspective of today's historical and philosophical reflection.
