Czech University Sports Association ?a significant stakeholder of the University Sport Clubs
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Czech University Sports Association is a key group, or a so-called stakeholder, of the university sport clubs as it is a significant holder of financial means which are necessary for the university sport clubs. The members of this association are not only university students who comprised 47,8% of the whole membership in 2009. In 2010, however, a general decrease in membership is identified (about 2000 members) but the number of student memberships remains the same. The association?s main income comes from subsidies ( ?Sport and School?), designed to organize university competitions and to support the activities of VSK/VŠTJ (University Sport Club), and also from Czech Sports Association. In addition, subsidies from some other governmental sources, civic societies, foundations and sponsors provide a significant income as well. The amount of finance provided by the government increases moderately only in the chapter on The Organization of University Competitions.
