The Use of the Analyzer Simi Motion System for Motor Learning in Classical Dance
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The aim of this study was to determine the extent to which different levels of strength abilities of the right and left lower extremities affect the quality of the motion structure of the selected classical dance jump, the cabriole en avant. The sample consisted of eight students from the Dance Conservatory in Brno. Strength abilities of the lower extremities have been investigated using a test called the vertical jump. To analyze the quality of the jump, we have chosen a kinematographic method for which we used the SIMI Motion analytical system. The total of 48 jumps was measured with each dancer performing three jumps using their right lower extremity and three jumps using their left lower extremity. Through movement digitization we were able to obtain the kinematic characteristics from which we were primarily interested in time and speed parameters of the lower extremities movement.
