Presented study text provides basic information for students of the course Load Tests in Sports Medicine. This text explains meaning of basic terms, principles of a suitable load test choice and safety rules related to load tests. It shows students how to interpret the results and responses of physiological indicators. This text is accompanied by a list of useful scientific literature. Selftest which is a part of this study text helps students to check acquired knowledge and it provides correct answersin case that some mistakes appear. The aim of this text is to give students basic orientation in the physiological load test issue as well as in corresponding scientific literature to open a gate to see what other knowledge they should gain in the courseLoad Tests in Sports Medicine.
