Football is a phenomenon of the last decades and also due to fans it could become the most popular sport in the world throughout its history. Football is bringing happiness, fulfilment and thrill to billion people all over the world. But on the other hand it is also riven with corruption, racism, homophobia and violence. Aggression in football represents an important social and psychological phenomenon which needs to be considered both in the perspective of active sport participation and in the contextof football spectators. In this paper, we present an overview of football tragedies which were mainly caused by the fans´ aggression.
