It is a chapter of the book presenting the results of an international comparative research focused on the situation of the young people on the particular labor markets of the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia. The book identifies the attitudes of thestudents of the economic-type universities towards the finding job and work abroad. This chapter analyses the Czech labor market development and trends from 1996 till 2006 with the special attention to the young people (15-24 years population).
