In this article there are described possibilities of investment in commodities. At the beginning there is a short history of investment in commodities and important events that are with commodities related. In the next part there are introduced the maincommodity indices, their construction and main advantages and disadvantages of them. In the last part of article there are introduced some possibilities for retail investment in commodities.
