Since 1989, four out of th e original eight MTAs have been canceled and it is probable that the terr itorial reductions will continue. Furthermore, the possibilities of future activities, not only in the near vicinity, but also with the envisaged furt her territorial reductions and MTAs themselves, are discussed with an emphasis on tourism.
