Coactivation pattern analysis reveals changes in prodromal dementia with Lewy bodies
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Dementia with Lewy body (DLB) builds significant part of synucleinopathies. Our aim is to study alterations in fMRI dynamic functional connectivity – Coactivation pattern analysis - characterizing prodromal stage of mild cognitive impairment with Lewy body (MCI-LB). CAP 4 is characterized with high activation in DMN, moderate activation in visual network and negative activation in FPCN. This pattern probably represents mind wandering, occurred during the measurement. Directly proportional relation of CAP 4 coverage with memory z-score in MCI-LB group suggests higher damage of memory function in MCI-LB participants who spent less time in this state. Observed results are in concordance with our observations on pilot data [4] and with results observed with sliding window analysis in state with positive correlation of DMN and visual network and negative correlation of DMN and FPCN. We plan to incorporate observed difference in classification model to test and validate, if brain dynamics can serve as imaging biomarker for MCI-LB.
