Das Thema fällt unter den Blickwinkel der Grenzüberschreitung. Vordergründig geht es nicht um Reisen ins jeweilige Nachbarland ? Bayern oder Böhmen. Auch nicht um Rotlichtmilieu. Der Beitrag schließt an Konzeptionen der Zusammenarbeit über die bayerisch-tschechische Grenze hinweg an, die den Kontakt in den Vordergrund rücken. Fernziel wäre dabei, eine kulturelle Kontaktzone in der Mitte Europas zwischen den Bezirken Westböhmen und Oberpfalz entstehen zu lassen, in der sich beide Seiten der Grenze spielerisch die Zusammenarbeit pflegen, auch schon ohne große sprachliche Hindernisse. Die Ausführungen zeigen, welche Ideen schon allein aufgrund des Stichworts Hochzeit ohne Grenzen entwickelt werden können.

The theme falls into the field of crossing the border. But it does not mean the travelling to the neighboring country of Bavaria and Bohemia or the environment of "red lights district." This paper seeks to follow in the concept of the Bavarian-Czech border and beyond border cooperation using the brochures of tourists information centres. The activities of various organizations and institutions on both sides of the border after 1989 aiming to develop neighborhood understanding, which also includes wedding days, are discussed.
