In der vorliegenden wissenschaftlichen Monographie werden die künstlerischen Konzepte dargestellt, die in der deutschen Literatur um 1800 auftauchen. Es wird gezeigt, wie die junge Generation der romantischen Künstler um 1800 auf die Tradition des 18. Jahrhunderts aufknüpft. Weiter wird angedeutet, dass aus den Wurzeln der rationalistischen Weltdeutung die idealistische Weltanschauung wächst, die den schaffenden Künstler prägt. Daraus wird klar, dass beide Perspektiven die gemeinsame Grundlage haben. Ihr Durcheinanderfließen in dieser Umbruchsepoche wird zum Thema der Arbeit. In der Studie wird die Problematik der gesellschaftlichen Position des Künstlers behandelt. Sie besteht aus den gesellschaftlich-historischen sowie den musikalisch-theoretischen Überlegungen, die von den Analysen literarischer Texte von Johann Friedrich Reichardt, Wilhelm Heinrich Wackenroder, Ludwig Tieck und Karl Philipp Moritz ergänzt werden.

The scientific monograph, written in German, offers an insight into the concepts of art in German literature around 1800. It shows how the cultural traditions of the eighteenth century were followed by the young generation of romantic artists of the early nineteenth century. The author indicates that the idealistic perception of the environment, surrounding the artist, rose from the roots of the rationalist view of the world. It is evident that both perspectives have a common basis. Their blending in this transition period is the topic of the whole book. The study provides a holistic view of the issue of the status of the artist in society. The reasoning of socio-historical and musical-theoretical character is followed by the analyses of partly lesser-known literary texts of German authors from the turn of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries MINUS SIGN Johann Friedrich Reichardt, Wilhelm Heinrich Wackenroder, Ludwig Tieck and Karl Philipp Moritz.
