Der Beitrag beschreibt der Stand und die Bedingungen des Bildungswesens in der ersten Halfte des 19. Jahrhunderts in der Donaumonarchie. Author stellt die Studienjahre von Adalbert Stifter in Horní Planá, Kremmsmunster und Wien vor und er widmet sich der Analyse seiner padagogischen Hinsichten und Erfahrungen, durch die Praxis des Hauslehrers in Wien (Familien Metternich und Schwarzenberg) gewonnen hatte. Seit der 50. Jahre wirkte Stifter in Linz als der Bezirkschulinspektor. Der Text ist durch Anmerkungen erganzt und erstand auf Grund der heuristischen und Archivdokumente Analyse kombiniert mit seiner literarischen Werken.

This paper describes the situation in school system and educational possibilities in Donaumonarchie in the first half of the 19th century. There are presented school periode of the Adalbert Stifters Life in Horní Planá, Kremsmunster and Vienna. In the conclusion analyzed the author his pedagogical and educational sentences based on his activities as Hometeacher in Noblefamilies von Metternich and von Schwarzenberg and in Linz where Stifter was the School inspecteur during the 50´ in the 19th century. The text is completed by notes and was developer by heuristic research in archives and by analyse of Stifters literature works.
