The 6th year of the international conference Search for Indigenous America focused on Indigenous America and contemporary research. The presenters from the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology (KSKA) were Lívia Šavelková (paper with Martin Heřmanský from FHS UK - The Winnetou Film Phenonemon in the Czech and Slovak Regions), Tomáš Boukal (The Cult of the Bear in Comparison: America, Asia and Europe) and Oldřich kašpar (round table related to the Terminology of North Native American Groups in the Czech Language). There were approx. 70 attenders.
