Avec plus d’un tiers de sa vie passé en exil, le dernier roi de France couronné incarne l’archétype du souverain exilé. Au cours de son ultime exil, il séjourna, avec sa famille près de quatre ans en Bohême. Il s’installa avec sa cour, dont une petite partie était constituée d’un personnel enseignant chargé de s’occuper des deux petits-enfants du roi, au château de Prague. Comment s’est déroulée l’éducation de ses petits-enfants, Louise, née en 1819, comtesse de Rosny en exil, et Henri, né un an plus tard, comte de Chambord en exil ? Quelles sont les sources qui permettent de répondre à ces questions ?

Having spent more than a third of his life in exile, the last crowned king of France embodies the archetype of the exiled sovereign. During his final exile, he and his family lived in Bohemia for nearly four years. He settled with his court, a small part of which consisted of teaching staff responsible for looking after the king&apos;s two grandchildren, at Prague Castle. How did the education of his grandchildren, Louise, born in 1819, Countess of Rosny in exile, and Henri, born a year later, Count of Chambord in exile, unfold? What sources can be used to answer these questions?
