This chapter is devoted to interpreting the artistic concept (stellar symbolism) of the architecture of the Pilgrimage Chapel of St. John of Nepomuk above the town of Letohrad. The decoration of the central altar represents the apotheosis of St. John of Nepomuk as the victor over the world. The interpretation traces the genesis and early manifestations of reverence for the patron saint of good reputation in the Baroque art culture of the wider region in the second half of the 17th century and the first third of the 18th century.
