Duty to establish, implement and maintain a procedure for environmental communication of company with interested parties is an important part of the environmental management systems (EMS). It is used both provision of the internal communication among thevarious levels and functions of organization and receiving, documenting and responding to relevant communication from external stakeholders. Recently interest is focused first of all on environmental communication with external stakeholders. The paper is aimed on analysis of the present state of the external environmental reporting in the Czech Republic and especially on companies with EMS. The paper considers first of all significance of the individual stakeholders for the procedure of external environmental communication and if enterprises trace information needs of external stakeholders.
