Separation of an aqueous solution of sulphuric acid and ferrous sulphate by diffusion dialysis was investigated in a counter-current continuous dialyzer with an anion-exchange membrane Neosepta-AFN. The transport of both components through the membrane was characterized by the acid recovery, the rejection coefficient of salt and the overall dialysis coefficient of acid, which were determined from the measurements at steady state.
