Investigation of Decomposition of Photoinitiators
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
In this paper were investigated properties of four photoinitiators. Two of them are commercially available initiators (Irgacure 2959 and Irgacure 261) and the other two are new photoinitiators that were prepared (CB and HP1). CB is cationic organometallic photoinitiators and HP1 is hybrid photoinitiator with higher molecular weight containing chemical groups suitable for starting free radical and cationic polymerization simultaneously. The absorption properties and comparison of the rate of photodecomposition of tested photoinitiators were measured based on UV-VIS spectrometry. The photochemical mechanism and the estimated number of decomposition products after UV photolysis of initiators were proposed based on the results of mass spectrometry and factor analysis of UV-VIS spectra. The results from mass spectrometry and factor analysis have shown very good correlation. CB and HP1 decompose upon UV light exposure and can be used as photoinitiators for cationic (CB and HP1) or free radic
