Electrochemical Behavior of alpha-Tocopherol in Various Electrolytes after its Previous Extraction into the Heterogeneous Electrode Material from Aqueous-Acetone Mixture
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
During comparison of heterogeneous electrode materials with solid glassy carbon, an extraction of alpha-tocopherol into used lipophilic binder was observed, which can be used for isolation of this biologically active chemical compound from sample matrixand its following analysis by pulse electrochemical techniques. Accordingly, electrochemical behavior of alpha-tocopherol (known as the most active form of vitamin E) in various electrolytes after its previous extraction into the heterogeneous electrodematerial from an aqueous-acetone mixture was investigated by cyclic voltammetry. Usually, the alpha-tocopherol was extracted into glassy carbon paste of the electrode from its solution (50 umol L-1) containing 60% acetone for 240 s at speed of stirring 400 rpm. Concerning cyclic voltammetry, following parameters were adjusted in this study: potential range, -0.5 to +1.3 V vs Ag/AgC/3.0 mol.L-1 KCl; scan rate (nu), 50 mV s(-1); potential step, 5 mV; number of scans, n=5. The results were
