Specifics of the project management approach for economics and healthcare
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The application of agile project management methods in economics and healthcare underlines the main differences due to the unique goals and constraints of each area. At the same time, however, it can provide better solutions to problems. In healthcare, the agile approach emphasizes the benefits for the patient or compliance with ethical aspects. Iterative cycles ensure accuracy in delivering medical solutions. In economics, the agile approach is often used to adapt to rapidly changing market conditions. Other key parameters in this area are the search for cost-effectiveness and maximization of profitability. Lean and scrum methods are suitable approaches to agile project management applicable in both of the above areas. While both areas benefit from agility adaptability, there are differences - the economy favors the market response, the healthcare system focuses on patients and high-quality care. In the presented text, the main advantages and specifics of the agile approach to project management in economics and health care are examined, taking into account best practices for university study programs. Finally, it also makes recommendations for using the agile approach in both areas.
