As artificial intelligence (AI) becomes increasingly integrated into ICT operations, its environmental impact remains an important but often overlooked aspect of digital transformation. While enterprises adopt sustainability measures, their approaches vary across regions and industries. This study explores AI's role in sustainable ICT practices, assessing its potential benefits and challenges. Using Eurostat data, we analyze existing trends in enterprise sustainability strategies and examine variations in AI-driven approaches across industries and regions. A comparative assessment highlights AI's influence on corporate sustainability efforts, providing a data-driven perspective on its effectiveness. By aligning AI applications with responsible ICT practices, businesses can better navigate the intersection of technological advancement and environmental responsibility. The findings contribute to ongoing discussions on AI's role in sustainability, offering insights into how enterprises can integrate AI into broader sustainability initiatives.
