The article presents a concrete example of the application of benchmarking in assessing the quality of health care. As part of the student project are set methodology for data collection and evaluation. Based on the results the proposed measures lead toimprove the quality of care 5 acute care hospitals in the Pardubice region. The main benefit of the method used is knowledge sharing and dissemination of good practice. The comparison enables to find examples of good practice that can be used to increasethe competencies of staff and improve the quality of the setting processes.
