Many experts engaged in testing the durability of concrete agree on that the tests of permeability of a covercrete for the air and water can describe indirectly the state of a porous structure of tested concrete. Both from measured values of air permeability coefficient kT using Torrent's method and a value of initial surface absorption measured by ISAT method in compliance with British standard BS 1881:208, it is possible to obtain data for their comparison. As it uses indirect methods of the evaluation of a porous structure of tested concrete under measuring cellules of 10 mm in diameter, it is necessary to perform more measurements on observed section of a structure so the results could be evaluated by statistics methods. The covercrete is considered to be in a depth 50 mm from an outer surface of measured concrete. Since the porous structure contains different volume of the water or vapour, the surface mass moisture is measured simultaneously.
