The glazed aluminum facades and ventilated facades are very often used types of facade single-storey or multi-storey buildings e.g. Administration building, industry or logistics objects. In European trade there are several systems of glazed aluminum facades offered by producers of facade systems (e.g. Reynaers, Schűco). Each producer has own system solution. The base parts of each facade system are horizontal and vertical profiles. Each producer tries to make the most effective shape of each type of facade member. There are two important aspects ? economic and reliability of using. One type of facade anchor member was chosen for our research. Because the producers often use similar shape of anchor for fixed anchor and slide anchor, both of them were optimized. These types of anchors were optimized with respect to higher reliability and suitable material This paper deals with an optimization of anchor member. The new shape of anchor was optimized by numerical modelling and verified by
