Experimental Investigation of the Chemical Shrinkage of the Cement Paste Based on the Calorimetric and Ultrasonic Measurement
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The paper deals with the experimental investigation of the chemical shrinkage of hydraulic cement paste. The measurements were aimed at the determination of heat flow and hydration heat using the isothermal calorimetry and determination of the ultrasonic (US) pulse velocity using the test device based on the longitudinal waves measurement and equipped with the thermal sensor. The measurements were performed on the test specimens prepared from Portland cement CEM I 42.5R and water with w/c ratio of 0.40, 0.33 and 0.50. The chemical shrinkage was determined in compliance with the ASTM C1608-17. The main objective of the experiments was to find the relationships between the results obtained using the above mentioned testing techniques. The pilot results show the close relationship between the heat flow, evolution of the internal temperature measured inside the test specimen and US transit time determined by the continual measurement on the test specimen during early maturation. The results also indicate
