BIM application by public procurement authorities has categorical profit from the point of view of building lifecycle administration. The main compensation include increase of rate of construction, reduction of overall life cycle costs, increase of work productivity and reduction of misunderstanding between individual participants in the construction project. At the same time, however, the beginning of the BIM method requires some preliminary investment and expertise of the individual participants in the construction projects. Public Procurement Act prescribes to public authorities' specific procedures for contracting which should be met and at the same time they must correctly set relevant technical aspects.
