Increase of temperature in wood elements by microwave energy
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
This paper deals with application and theory of microwave radiation and experimental microwave radiation optimization depending on the temperature increase inside and outside of the wood elements. The effect of electromagnetic radiation on the design of the building structure first occurs at the flow of molecules of water contained in the material, which causes the water to be converted to steam is then evaporated from moist material. When converting energy from water to steam, so energy is converted and heat is generated. This causes the irradiated element to dry in ours case of wood. The paper deals more specifically with the evaluation of the effect of heating and distances the heated material from the microwave generator (antenna) and the temperatures attained on the surface a inside irradiated wooden spruce elements. Individual experiments were performed and results evaluated for all wood elements. Wooden prisms were divided into two groups. Individual groups were exposed to microwave radiation for a different time. In total, there were two a group of spruce wooden prisms, where long standing individual elements were exposed before by irradiating the same ambient (outdoor) conditions.
