Preparation of bioceramic coatings by dip-coating method
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The aim of this work was to prepare Ca-P, respectively SiO2 based bioceramic coatings on alumina or zirconia substrates by dip-coating method and to study their bioactive properties by means of interactions with simulated body fluid (SBF). Precursors forthe deposition of bioceramic coatings were prepared using the sol-gel method or the precipitation technique. The resulting sols and suspensions were applied by dip-coating method onto ceramic substrates. The optimum conditions for producing bioceramiccscoatings with definite phase composition and structure were identified by X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Bioactive properties of coated samples were tested in SBF, containing inorganic ions close in concentration to those in human blood plasma, for various times, at 37°C and pH was adjusted at 7,25. The changes of surfaces before and after immersion in SBF were detected by XRD and SEM.
