The purpose of this paper is to perform the stress-strain analysis of the hip joint with THR applied and to specify the influence of the size of femoral head and head/cup fit on the contact area and the value and distribution of the contact pressure inside the cup. The stress-strain analysis was performed by using ANSYS.
