There is an accentuated ambition for harmonizing of legislation in the most of the European countries for last couple years. The objective of the harmonizing of legislation is unification of requirements and obligations for all legal subjects to which particular laws refer. Regulation of the European parliament and of the council (ES) no. 1272/2008 on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures or amendment of this regulation (regulation of the European Commission (ES) no. 790/2009) brings distinctive changes in the area of the classification of chemicals and chemical preparations or mixtures. So these changes will effect other connected areas as well. System of the prevention of major accidents according to directive SEVESO II in Czech Republic (act digest no. 59/2006 about prevention of major accidents; up-to-date wording) is one of these areas.
