The article deals with the project in the field of wireless and mobile communications. The project is to provide laboratory equipment and a collection of modern laboratory experiments in the field of wireless and mobile communications. The laboratory will enable the innovation of the study plan in the faculty´s pivotal study specialisation ?Electronics and Communication? and extending it by practical education in the area of wireless and mobile communications undergoing rapid development. The project coonception follows of trend towards establishing practical forms of education and individual study of students at technical universities. The project effectively complements the students´ knowledge base in an area that is very attractive for professionalpractice of an increasing number of our graduates in recent years.
