This paper aims to introduce fundamental differences between full-wave methods and asymptotic methods in FEKO software. In the first part the theoretical description of the Method of Moments and Geometrical Optics is stated. Next, the possibilities of settings of the both methods in the FEKO software are shown. In the last part achieved results are discussed. For computations of only simple numerical models are used
