Reverse interlocking protection using IEC 61850 GOOSE
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Protection and Automation systems have been significantly developed as a result of advanced Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) which are adapted to work with various communication interfaces. International standard IEC 61850 has facilitated high-speed peer-to-pee communications among IEDs by replacing analogue and binary signals by Ethernet messages so it reduces the cost of the system and improves the flexibility and the functionality of the system. This paper shows how to use the IEC 61850 within protection schemes which should be developed after assistance by communications system based on the new standard. The paper focuses on one type of protection schemes (Reverse Interlocking) that can be implemented using Generic Object-Oriented Substation Event (GOOSE) messages. A laboratory set-up including the software and hardware presented. Regarding to the terms of feasibility, speed, and dependability, laboratory results are discussed at the end.
