Indication of Abnormal Operation Conditions in a Mesh Network Based on Data from Distributed Measurement
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The paper discusses possible contribution of distributed measurement system installed in a mesh LV network in means of non-standard operation states or faults detection. A numerical model of real, highly interconnected mesh MV/LV network is created and is used for cascading failure simulations. Possibilities of cascading failure indication are examined based on calculating voltages and currents in the network. Distributed voltage monitoring potential is assessed based on limited number of measuring devices, selectively placed in the LV network. Simulations show that the impact of distributed voltage measurement is insignificant. As a result, monitoring of currents at MV/LV transformer stations is proposed and further examined. For both voltage and current monitoring, variants of different monitoring penetration are discussed.
