Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The monograph entitled "1D and 2D Analog, Discrete, and Digital Processing" by Z. Smékal and J. Sklenář describes the properties and connections of analog, discrete, and digital signal processing and analog, discrete, and digital systems. The authors do not aim to describe in detail all methods, algorithms and properties of the relationships between signals and systems, but they want to provide an overview of the most used methods, to indicate the connections between signal processing methods and systems so that the reader gets a comprehensive overview. Details can then be found in the cited recommended literature. The book is not intended for complete beginners. If it will be read by undergraduate students, they will probably have to refer to appropriate sources from time to time in order to clarify some of the concepts with which the book works. It can be studied by students and graduates of master's and doctoral studies, as well as others interested in the given from various scientific fields who, however, have already mastered the basic concepts of circuit theory and signal theory and, above all, mastered the basics of differential and integral calculus, including the basics of functions of complex variables. The authors do not engage in endless theorizing, they try to explain the essence of the matter briefly and comprehensibly, and illustrate the theory with appropriately chosen practical examples working with numbers. This allows the reader to clarify possible ambiguities that easily arise when studying advanced theory. The authors adhere to a modern concept, using terminology that can be found in leading textbooks. The book is provided with the usual appendices such as table of contents, list of symbols, list of references and index. The given examples are accompanied by short illustrative programs.
