Measurement of 130Te(n, γ)131mTe reaction cross-section at neutron energy of 14.96 ± 0.15 MeV
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The reaction cross-section of Te-130(n, gamma)Te-131m was measured using the activation technique. The reaction Al-27(n, alpha)Na-24 was employed as standard monitor reaction for the neutron flux determination. The experiment was performed at Institute for Plasma Research (IPR), Gujrat, India. The offline gamma (gamma) ray spectroscopy using a sophisticated pre-calibrated high purity germanium (HPGe) detector was employed to record the induced gamma-ray radioactivity in the Tellurium (Te) and Aluminum (Al) monitor. The experimental measured cross-section value is analyzed and compared with previous reported data of EXFOR database and evaluated nuclear data libraries (JENDL/AD-2017). In addition, TALYS 2.0 code with varied level density models (LDMs), pre-equilibrium models (preeqmodes), optical potential models (OMPs), width fluctuation corrections models (widthmodes) and gamma-ray strength function models up to 20 MeV is used to calculate theoretical cross-section. The results enhance the understanding of reaction mechanism and contribute to the advancement of the nuclear data for Te isotopes.
