Fingerprint Damage Simulation
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
This work describe design and possible implementation of the application for synthetic fingerprint damage simulation. As the main source of information project SFinGe which is a pioneer in this area was used. Area of interest is specified to optical or capacitive touch sensors and fingerprint damage caused by pressure and moisture, damage and dirt on the sensor and skin deformation. A way how to implement these factor which damage the synthetic fingerprint so that the fingerprint looks like a real one is designed. These methods use morphological operators and model of plastic distortion in fingerprint images. Results of used methods are compared using commercial product and standard of fingerprint image quality. The main benefit of this work is damaging synthetic fingerprints so that they can be proven or disproven to be worse than original and the design of application that allows expansion by other methods.
