Optimisation of solid phase extraction of selected non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs by capillary zone electrophoresis
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Presented study is focused on SPE development for extraction selected acidic drug residues from water environment. Target drugs are chosen from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs: salicylic acid, diclofenac, ibuprofen, ketoprofen, naproxen and acetaminophen. Increasing presence and concentrations of pharmaceuticals in the environment have been ob-served for some last decades. The most heavily loaded environment is aquatic environment due to continuous discharge of these compounds into sewer system and their insufficient eli-mination during cleaning processes in wastewater treatment plants. Pharmaceuticals are pollu-tants, which not exhibit acute toxicity for water organisms, but their continuous release into the environment may cause chronic adverse effects on these organisms. Due to this potential threat is necessary to control their presence in aquatic environment. Therefore, there is a need to apply reliable analytical methods for easy determination of these compound
