Analysis of degradation products of magnesium alloy AZ31 and AZ61 processed by method squeeze casting in SBF solution
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Magnesium alloys have received scientific attention due to their excellent and specific properties such as light weight, high specific strength and stiffness, etc. and magnesium alloys have attracted attention as potential implant materials, due to their excellent biocompatibility and good mechanical compatibility. This contribution is focused on the longterm chemical degradation of magnesiu alloys AZ31 and AZ61 in Hank's solution with various salts concentrations. The chemical degradation was realized during several time intervals from 24 to 1008 hours and chemical degradation of magnesium alloys AZ31 and AZ61 were evaluated in depence on alloy compositions, time duration, released amount of degradation products and pH level changes. The results confirmed the significant factors of chemical degradation such as chemical heterogeneity of AZ31 and AZ61, type of degradation solutions, and time of degradation.
