E-business has become a standard and brings benefit for all types of enterprises. Generally, i has changed the way how enterprises and also customers conduct business, communicate and access, choose, pay for and receive goods, services and information. Current trend in e-business is to develop systems enabled to manage and coordinate the business and production activities at home and abroad. Although these systems arise in times of severe economic crisis and we would expect these systems can have problems with sustainability, the opposite is true and turnover from sales realized electronically grows continuously. In this context, it seems reasonable to ask why this is so and whether the condition is permanent or e-business will get into the financial downturn over time. The authors try to answer this question when the answer is based on the latest European and world statistics and presentation of real measurable benefits of e-business.
