Der Artikel befasst sich mit der Überwachung der Anfänge und Entwicklung der kirchlichen Friedhöfe in Mitteleuropa, und Forschung ihre Grundfunktionen. Er folgt der Entwicklung und Transformation der Bestattungsform, die Form und räumliche Struktur des Gräberfeldes und ihre Kommunikation und sozialen Kontext. Insbesondere konzentriert sie sich auf die profane Aufgabe ihre Friedhöfe und ihre Befestigungsanlagen. Es wird auf spezielle Artefakte mit Friedhof Raum verbunden sind, wie der Kanzel oder der Totenleuchtern.

The article deals with monitoring the beginnings and development of church cemeteries in Central Europe, and research their basic functions. Studied is the development and transformation of the burial rite, form and spatial structure of the burial groundand its communication and social context. In particular, it focuses on the use of profane their cemeteries and fortification purposes. Attention is paid to specific artifacts associated with cemetery space, such pulpits or lanterns the of the dead.
