    Globalization has developed the interconnection of national economies and has become an effective platform in the development of international trade. At the current time, when the world is recovering from the effects of the COVID 19 pandemic and the current political-military crisis between Russia and Ukraine, it can be expected that changes in consumer behavior will occur in Europe. The increase in consumer goods inflation and high energy prices will be a clear cause of this. The article tries to find realistic ways to minimize the negative effects of the current global crisis of international trade on the needs and interests of young consumers based on a complex analytical consideration. The main methods used are a structured analysis of real facts regarding the impact of globalization on national economic interests and the behavior of consumers from generation Z, as well as a cognitive description of the facts, as well as synthesis methods, logical and deductive procedures in order to verify the proposed paths leading to the minimization of the impact of globalization on consumer behavior. The article will present the consequences of the current global crises on the national economy of the Czech Republic and their influence on the change in the behavior of young consumers of generation Z and will provide general recommendations for mitigating the negative effects of the current global trade crisis on the surveyed consumers.
