Commercial potential of materials from PV panel recycling
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The ReSoRe project is a logical continuation of the OP-PIK research project “Recycling of waste photovoltaic panels and lithium-ion batteries”, registration No. CZ.01.1.02/0.0/0.0./21_374/0026809, within which Dekonta developed a technology for recycling photovoltaic panels (hereinafter PV panels) in Kralupy nad Vltavou. To successfully put the line into commercial operation, it is necessary to optimize the process and achieve maximum material recovery from the recycling products. However, this requires detailed research into the products and materials generated during the processing of waste PV panels and the possibility of their further use and commercialisation. Another objective was to optimize the developed technology to increase the commercial potential of the obtained products while considering the cost of the whole process. Subsequently, the project aims to outline further options further options for more efficient processing. To obtain the necessary information and samples for the research, a set of tests was carried out. This study describes these tests, the technology itself, and the overall framework for the management of waste PV panels in the Czech Republic.
