The workshop on “ Damage and Damage Tolerance of Welded Structures ” was held in Prague on April 12-13 2018. Venue and accommodation was in the hotel Certousy in the eastern part of Prague about 10 minutes by bus from the metro terminal station "Cerny most". With respect to the workshop program: The following aspects were envisaged: - Mechanisms of fracture and fatigue of welded structures - Weld defects and imperfections - Fracture mechanics and integrity of welds, lifetime assessment - Effects of material, weld geometry and manufacturing technology on the structural integrity of welds - Welding residual stresses in the as-welded state and modified after post weld treatment and in service It was intended to provide time for discussion. Therefore, the number of presentations was limited to about 15.
