Název v původním jazyce
Analysis of microstructure and properties of welded joints for VOLVO programme
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The report presents the results of the analysis of 7 samples of welded joints (3 made on tubes (bellows) and 4 made on casings welded with bellows by using different weld metal, methods and parameters of welding) produced for the VOLVO programme. The goal of the analyses was to assess the quality of the individual welded joints. The results of the analyses showed problems, especially with the occurrence of voids or gas bubbles in almost all cases. The occurrence of apparently hot (crystallization) cracks in the weld metal was also quite often recorded, but on the other hand, no other types of cracks were found in these joints. The beneficial effect of reducing the total heat input to the weld during laser welding was manifested by the fact that in the heat-affected area on the weld metal-cast iron side, hardness was not as high as in the case of using MAG technology.
