Este capítulo analiza las relaciones comerciales entre América Latina y el Caribe y la Unión Europea. Comienza con una breve descripción de las características generales de las relaciones comerciales entre América Latina y el Caribe y la Unión Europea, luego se procede a un análisis de los acuerdos comerciales entre las dos regiones para finalmente destacar las características principales de las exportaciones y las importaciones, asi como la composición sectorial del comercio entre las dos regiones, enfatizando la asimetría entre estos flujos comerciales a medida que ingresan a los países estudiados.

This chapter analyzes the trade relations between Latin America and the Caribbean and the European Union. It begins with a brief description of the general characteristics of trade relations between Latin America and the Caribbean and the European Union, then proceeds to an analysis of the trade agreements between the two regions to finally highlight the main characteristics of exports and imports, as well as the sectoral composition of trade between the two regions, emphasizing the asymmetry between these trade flows as they enter the countries studied.
