The coherence searching of limestone properties and its optimal burning temperature

Experimental burnings of the various locality limestone specimens were made for three temperatures. The reactivity tests of these quicklime samples were made and the optimal burning temperature was calculated for each limestone. The optimum criteria werethe maximal slake temperature and the minimal slake time. The correlations between the optimal burning temperature and other limestone properties were calculated. The results indicate some connection between optimal burning temperature and the limestonegrindability index.
