Heavy and light floating floors for wooden and low-energy buildings
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The paper describes findings gained within research and development of fibre-cement boards for floor constructions. The use of insulation boards made of waste mineral fibres was a significant part of this study. Floors made by the method of dry construction are becoming more requested, mainly in buildings where excess of humidity could cause complications. An example is represented by wooden structures and low-energy buildings. At first, a basic version of a so-called light floating floor was designed. After that, the floor was constructed inside an experimental wooden structure. Several measurements of airborne and impact sound insulation of particular layers of a floor were carried out. The results summarize a large number of measurements that helped to give an overall evaluation of the experiments. According to them, the board prepared from recycled fibres has comparable properties to a commercially prepared board.
